As a Pipeline Engineer you will be working within our Natural Gas Division. Responsibilities involve;

Providing the optimum Pipeline Engineering input to develop conceptual studies for pipeline projects and carrying out in-house pre FEED. Developing and reviewing project implementation strategies. Executing feasibility studies on pipeline engineering, planning an design and financial evaluation.

Ensuring best practice for gas pipeline design activities. Recommending new technologies and developments. Applying relevant international codes of practice and standards. Reviewing materials for construction of gas pipelines.

Monitoring project performance overseeing and supporting Consultants/Engineering and EPC Contractors to ensure that designs are in accordance with the scope of work and meet ADNOC expectations.

Preparing and implementing work procedures in liaison with relevant divisions and hired consultants to cover engineering, construction, commissioning and operation activities of the gas projects. Reviewing inspection and test plans.

Establishing preliminary pipeline route alignments and carrying out necessary coordination with local authorities for approval. Contributing towards ensuring effective implementation of company policies and strategies for all major and minor pipeline projects with the objective to deliver to end-users a safe, reliable, operable and maintainable facility on schedule and within the approved budget.

Taking part in project reviews such as HAZOP, HSEIA and risk assessments etc as and when required. Minimum Requirements

BSc in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical degree. Membership of an appropriate and relevant professional institute would be an advantage.

7 years of technical experience in city gas distribution projects, and steel pipeline engineering design with at least 5 years in a similar role.

Advanced computing skills in MS Office applications and knowledge of AutoCAD.

Must have a strong level of English - written and spoken. Arabic is an advantage. A valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
