First Timer – Sample Learning Material & Some Tips

Tip 1: Start speaking – Don’t worry about the Chinese Characters.


Tip 2: Repeat, Listen, Repeat, Listen, Repeat, Repeat and Repeat again
Tip 3: Practice mixing Chinese word in your sentence- try always say ”
/ hǎo” anytime you want to say “ok”
Tip 4: Have a glass of water nearby!
Tip 5: After practicing for about 5 minutes, massage your cheeks while
the teacher is talking to relax your muscle again
Tip 6: Try to talk out LOUD, the louder your try to pronounce a word,
the clearer the teacher and you can hear the difference!
Tip 7: Any other situation you really want to get a start on? Talk to your
teacher, he/she will be more than happy to guide you through your
preferred direction!
Tip 8: If the Chinese is getting a big too much, take a break. We
recommend learning with short intervals but regularly, it works much
more effectively for first timer and beginner level!
