Send in the Clowns!

The Irle School held the annual Spring Programs

yesterday, and here are our Glasgow Kindergarteners
performing Circus, Circus! at the GHS Auditorium.
Speaking of Irle School, the name stays as those
who turned out for the Glasgow School election
overwhelmingly voted to keep the name Irle School.

759 votes were tallied in favor of, while 441 votes

were cast for the name Glasgow Elementary. In the
Trustee election, incumbents Alison Molvig (975 votes)
and Nick Dirkes (740) retained seats on the School
Board. Shawn Andersyn tallied 390 votes. The General
Fund levy ($18,271.65) slipped through 655-556.

Brendens bison bill bullied by Bullock

If you live in eastern Montana,

you knew it was coming.
Montana
Governor
Steve
Bullock vetoed Scobey Senator John
Brendens Senate Bill 284 that would
have allowed county commissioners

to decide if bison should be located in

their county.
Nancy Ereaux of Malta said she
was disappointed in the governor and
angry that he doesnt have respect for
the majority of legislators who passed

the bill. Whatever happened to of

the people by the people? He should
have gotten the message by now.
Senator Brenden said Bullocks
veto is evidence he believes in a topdown dictatorship.

Thank you, Dr. Crochelt, for your kindness

Sex has consequences

May is Teen Pregnancy prevention month. To

bring awareness to this topic the Valley County Health
Department encourages teens to come to the health
department Monday Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
during the month of May to take a confidential quiz on
stayteen.org.
The quiz challenges teens to think carefully about
what they might do in the moment.

All participants can put their name in a drawing to
be held on May 28th.
The message of the National Teen Pregnancy
Prevention awareness month is simple and
straightforward: Sex has consequences.

From Fighting Sioux to Custers 7th Cavalry?

In case you missed this mornings Voices of

Montana, it was another dandy, and with plenty of
humor throughout.

Besides the governor vetoing the bison bill, one
of the hot topics was the ongoing saga of finding
a nickname for the University of North Dakota,
previously known as the Fighting Sioux.
From Rob Port and North Dakotas
SayAnyThingBlog.com is this:

As part of their on-going process of transitioning
away from the controversial Fighting Sioux nickname
the University of North Dakota has released the list of
public suggestions they gathered from the internet.

You can read the list of nicknames which, per the
official UND nickname website, contains nickname Making a return Aaron Flint of the Northern Broadcasting
Systems Voices of Montana will be in Glasgow to do his Thursday
suggestions recommended to the Committee for
morning show live from Farm Equipment Sales. Guests include

Congressman Ryan Zinke. Following that, a Town Hall meeting
Its honestly a little difficult to discern how with Rep. Zinke will be from 2:30 to 3:30 at FES. Everyone is

consideration list:

No, Im not kidding.
A-holes from Grand Forks

Keep in mind, the whole reason the University of North
Fighting Nazis
Dakota is engaging in this rigamarole is that the Fighting

Eskimo Brothers
minority of activists.
Its pretty obvious why those names arent in
But the committee tasked with coming up with a new and
consideration. But then there is the consideration list, which non-offensive nickname is recommending for consideration
has these among its suggestions:
the name of an Army regiment responsible for the Wounded

Knee Massacre?
Flickertails
Im not kidding you. Its really on the list. And the
Frackers
people who submitted the suggestion werent exactly hiding

Now, to me, one of those names jumps out. The 7th why they picked it.

Clean property titles would be a good thing for all

St. Marie property owners.
QUESTIONS/OPINIONS- The main goal is to
clean up property titles.....with 11 open lawsuits? Is
using and manipulating NVCCA (North Valley County
Condo Association) and speaking of townhomes
therefore premature? It appears that the majority
votes of 4 people control the destiny of all 106 NVCCA
members, true of false? Trying to clean up titles or take
control of a condo board? Is the Association even legal
at this time?
OBSERVATIONS OF MANYAll thoughts,
desires, efforts, and activities trigger legal requirements
that must be complied with and met. Ethical and legal
responsibilities cannot be ignored! Various challenges
must be satisfied by law.
FINAL OPINION- Just because some folks say
and do, does not make it legal. Outstanding issues
must be sorted out with the assistance of lawyers and
judges who possess the education, understanding,
and interpretation of legal protocol and all the laws.
Shouldnt pro se laymen enlist the help of an attorney
to guide them?
~ Nick Chiechi- Due Diligence
