grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the review and
update of the following livestock documents of Eritrea.
Veterinary drugs proclamation
Animal Health proclamation
Milk and Milk products proclamation
Slaughter or Killing proclamation
Veterinary Surgeon Act
Veterinary quarantine services proclamation
Proclamation on Meat inspection and Hygiene
The Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) now invites sealed proposals from interested
and qualified consultant for the REVIEW and UPDATE of the LIVESTOCK
documents of Eritrea.
Documents for the preparation of proposals may be purchased
upon payment of non-refundable fee of 200 NKF local currency

Proposals shall be valid for a period of 45 (forty five) days after the opening, and

Experts qualifications: A bachelors degree in veterinary medicine or Animal
production with experience in policy review, Masters degree or PhD in Animal
Health economics or other relate field will be an advantage.
The MOA reserves the right to accept or to reject fully or partially if it finds any
option better than this RFP without needing to justify the grounds for its doing so
and without any compensation which the consultant may incurred in preparing its

Mine Mechanical Engineer (01)

Ensure formal appointment system for all supervisors and
above in engineering department.
Implement SWPs/SOPs in all areas of the department
Ensure adequate technical resources are recruited, trained and developed to
meet the departments needs.
Ensure all projects (e.g. HME Equipment overhauls) are carried out on
time and on budget.
Ensure all department systems are fully defined and implemented
Carry out and identify improvement Projects
Investigate all breakdowns and production losses
Do all forward planning for HME Fleet.
Identify critical spares
Cover for Engineering Manager, Plant Engineer, and HME Engineer as and
when required.

Use PPE according to standard procedures
Identifying and provide reports on risks and hazards
Responsible for own safety and that of others
Carry out instruction from their Supervisor and crew leader where required in a safe
manner
Ensuring that areas of responsibilities are maintained to a high standard of
housekeeping
Actively participate in skills development program
The mechanic must plan his work and order spares to complete daily tasks and
breakdowns with the assistance from his supervisory team( crew leader, supervisor)
