Intercede with Us for the Muslim World!

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will
be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail (Is. 58:11, NIV).
This promise is for those who keep His true fasthelping the oppressed and caring for the poor. Let's pray this week that, as
believers reach out to Muslim to help them physically and spiritually, they will indeed be blessed and strengthened.

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

BURKINA FASO: A missionary asks for prayer for the safe arrival and processing of a container with materials for
constructing tabernacles (metal frames for church buildings) and for establishing a tabernacle fabrication plant in this
country. These solid structures are a blessing to congregations and make a statement of permanence, a witness to all
around. Pray that, wherever these are erected, and as church members add walls and complete the buildings, Muslims
would be drawn and curious to know more about the true Church.
MALI: A worker here requests prayer for an assistant pastor who was seriously injured and whose wife was killed in a
car accident this past week. This worker, at the senior pastor's request, has been taking part in evening services at the
church, encouraging the grieving congregation, and reports, By the end of the service, God had lifted the heavy
blanket that sat over us and we openly praised God for who He is and His perfect wayseven in our pain and
suffering. Their pain is so real and yet tsishey followed the Lord in exalting Him. Please pray that Muslim
observers would be touched by what they see and encouraged to seek the hope that these people experience. Pray too
for the safety of the senior pastor and family members who are traveling to bury the wife's body in another country.
May they be a strong witness to all they meet there.
SENEGAL: Praise God for answered prayer! For many months we have been praying for a worker who was seeking
the right building for a community center. This week he signed a contract for a building that will meet the need. Pray
that the activities that happen within these walls will result in many changed lives!

In the News
Later this month, Iranian president Hassan Rouhani will be in New York City for the 70 th session of the United Nations
General Assembly. Naghmeh Abedini, wife of imprisoned pastor Saeed Abedini, has written a plea requesting
permission for her and her two children to meet with President Rouhani and other officials concerning the release of
her husband, held for nearly 3 years. Pray that the Lord would go before her, grant her favor, and fill her with His
peace and wisdom. For more information, see http://bit.ly/1L6zbPc.
