Im Jose Augusto Maldonado Lopez a Second Year Orthopaedic Resident at Mxico, Im from
Ecuador but I am doing my Residency in Mexico. Im very Interested on a rotation at the Department
of Sports Medicine and Trauma Surgery at Medical University of Miami at the Jackson Memorial
Hospital, in January 2016.
This hospital is known to me because during my internship I made an Observership at the area of
Surgery and Pediatrics, from March to April 2011 , which is why I have high expectations to perform
this rotation during my Residency
It would be for me very helpful in my professional preparation if its possible for me going to this
rotation complementing my learning by: improving my trauma knowledge, my clinical decision
making and comparing different surgical techniques and new technologies, also allowing me to
know and analyze a different health care system and enriching my sociocultural exchange.
