3-Ring Binder/Folder with paper and dividers. **Organization is
one key to success
Writing Utensils (pencils , pens, colored pencils & a highlighter)
1:1 Device and Flash Drive
Specific project supplies may be needed due to your selected
products.

You need to have an open mind, be willing to work hard, try


new things, and have fun learning!

Absences: You are responsible to check the calendar and


Google Classroom for handouts. Assignments are all
posted on the Google Calendar, so be sure to check the
calendar for assignments.

Make-Ups: Labs, group work, and other work done mainly


during the class period will need to be made up or other
assignments of equal difficulty and may be substituted at
the teachers discretion. Previously assigned homework
is due when the student returns to class.
Make-up tests and labs will be given before school, after school
or during your lunch hour. Please schedule make-up times
with Mr. Harold. You are expected to make-up missed tests
immediately upon return to class. If other arrangements
need to be made please contact Mr. Harold prior to your
return to class.
Retakes: If you would like to re-take an assessment, the
student is required to complete a revision form and discuss those revisions with the teacher prior to any scheduled re-tests. The detailed re-take procedure will be
posted on the website/Google Classroom.

Electronic Devices
Students are expected to turn off/silence all electronic communication devices upon entering the classroom. Use of all electronic devices during class is at the expressed permission
of a teacher or administrator per the student handbook. Inappropriate use during class
time will result in confiscation of the phone as mandated by the school policy.

Course Topics: Topics are presented on a variety of environmental topics.


Topics and outlines will be presented on Google Classroom for each unit.
Student differentiation and input is welcome in order to create a personal,
challenging, and overall rewarding experience.

Assessments & Projects


*Tests will be given at the end of each unit. Students must have their own materials for use on tests.
*Students are responsible for all class material contained in the assigned readings and presented in class (even if you are absent).
*Every student is responsible to be an active participant in labs and projects. Since this course is designed to integrate projects each unit, these projects will be a major
portion of your overall assessment grade.
*Be aware of lab and project due dates. You will need to be prepared to present or communicate your knowledge of the particular topic
*There is a general expectation that you will work to your full capacity each hour, complete all readings, and other do all work on time to allow for proper feedback.
*Students are expected to participate in all class activities including note taking, warm-ups, discussions, problem solving, projects, etc.
