PNU pays tribute to faculty members on World Teachers Day

MANILA PNU celebrated National Teachers on October 3 through a unified flag

ceremony and a short program at the University Quadrangle to show appreciation to
the members of its teaching force who continuously nurture future innovative
teachers.
The University Events Management and Public Relations Office (UEMPRO), under its
Officer-in-Charge, Prof. Janir T. Datukan, along with Faculty Assistants and
Administrative Staff, organized the event. After the program, they were led to the
Alumni Hall for the morning snacks specially prepared for them while a photo booth
was set up at the ground floor of the Geronima T. Pecson Building where students
were encouraged to have their pictures taken with their beloved mentors. The
students were also requested to write notes of gratitude to their teachers through
the dedication stationed at the first floor of the Maceda Building.
2016 National Teachers Month is celebrated with the theme: Guro, Kabalikat sa
Pagbabago.
