We will also have 2 presentations of iReady, an online program
that provides personalized instruction targeted to the English and
Math needs of a student. The presentations will be on Tuesday
11/15 & Thursday 11/17 from 3:30-4:30pm When a parent
attends the presentations, his/her name will be entered into a
drawing for a Ham Dinner from Choice Mart. ($66.00 value) The
Ham dinner comes with Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean
Casserole, Homestyle Brown Gravy, King's Hawaiian Dinner Rolls
& 8" Apple or Pumpkin pie. What a fabulous prize!

This morning Staff, and the 5th Grade students

with assistance from HPD, were sign-waving. We
would like to bring community awareness to the
dangers of speeding along the stretch of road
approaching and at the front of our school. We hope that drivers
will continue to be conscious to the dangers of speeding and
distracted driving.

We would like to send a shout out to Arnie Rabin aka "Arneleo The Great" for bringing laughter to the staff and
students! He came to our school last Thursday and performed magic tricks that matched the talents of David
Blaine! Mahalo for your amazing gift of laughter and love!
Following the magic show students gathered at the garden to celebrate Janexty's wonderful life. We planted
Zinnias and different types of Marigolds because that was her favorite flowers. We also drank sweet tea that was
just as sweet as she was, listened to heart-warming speeches that were shared by students and played basketball
to honor her time on the team. The day ended with a school picture of the entire student body with Aunty Julie
and the Ka'aloa Ohana.

What does Thankfulness look like? Thankfulness is being grateful for what we have.
Appreciate the little things that happen around you and within you everyday
