1. What requirements must you meet in order to study abroad? (i.e. GPA, etc.)
You must be a sophomore, junior, or first semester senior with the GPA of at least
2.75 for semester programs, and a 2.5 for summer programs
2. What are the three (3) different types of study abroad programs available to
students?
3 types of study abroad programs are exchange, direct study abroad, and facultyled
3. What are the deadlines for applying for study abroad?
The deadline for applying for study abroad is July 1st in the year preceding the
proposed study abroad.
4. What are three different ways that you can raise money to fund your trip?
Financial aid, sponsors & savings, and scholarships.
5. Name two (2) scholarships that can fund you for your trip and how you meet the
requirements?
Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, and Freeman Asia Scholarship
6. Where would you like to travel to for your study abroad experience and why?

I would like to travel to London, because Ive always wanted to visit since I was
younger.

7. Does A&T offer this as an option? If not, then what would be your second choice
destination?
Yes
