In order to study abroad you must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 for semester or year-long programs and 2.50 for
summer programs. They also must be a sophomore during the time abroad. Unfortunately they must not be in final
semester of degree program during period abroad. And as usual you must have the approval of the Office of
International Programs and your department
2. What are the three (3) different types of study abroad programs available to
students?
Exchange, Direct Study Abroad, and Faculty-Led
4. What are three different ways that you can raise money to fund your trip?
Financial Aid, Sponsors, and Scholarships.
5. Name two (2) scholarships that can fund you for your trip and how you meet the
requirements?
I would have liked to go to Spain for my trip because I am already somewhat fluent
in Spanish. I just want to shock their culture by being so fluent and learn theirs in
the process.
7. Does A&T offer this as an option? If not, then what would be your second choice
destination?
My second choice would have been Cuba, or Dominican Republic.
