1. What requirements must you meet in order to study abroad? (i.e. GPA, etc.)
To be able to study abroad you must meet a few requirements in order to do so. To
study for the spring you must have a 2.75 GPA and for the summer you must have
2.5 GPA. You also have to be at least a sophomore and most importantly you must
be approved by your department and the office of international programs.
2. What are the three (3) different types of study abroad programs available to
students?
The 3 different study abroad programs are: 1. Exchange that allows students to
swap places. 2. Direct study abroad and 3rd is the faculty- led that are organized
by an NCAT faculty member.
3. What are the deadlines for applying for study abroad?
There are 3 deadlines, one for Summer, Spring and Fall. For summer the deadline
is March 15, the Spring deadline is October 14 and for Fall its March 15.
4. What are three different ways that you can raise money to fund your trip?
There are many different ways to fund your study abroad travels. One way is
financial aid another is getting money through scholarships. Another way is
through Fellowships.
5. Name two (2) scholarships that can fund you for your trip and how you meet
the requirements?
