unemployed; 10%

I chose to ask this question to get an idea of what I

should input as my magazines pricing options. If more of
the population I asked were employed than Id choose to
market it at a higher price.
My results show that 50% were students followed by a
40% figure of those who were employed. Meaning I will
be putting the magazine at price suitable so both
the employed and student population can
purchase it.

range I wanted to include in my target audience
however, I asked this question to solidify a suitable
age bracket.
It seems the eldest participant age majority were 16,
23 and 24 year olds at 20% each. Because of this
outcome, I have decided to on a target audience
of late teens to early /mid 30s.

how much would you pay for a hip-hop, rnb magazine?
I asked this question to follow the above question
regarding employment status. I did this to help me
come up with a final price for my magazine that is
affordable dependent on the target audience.

3-4; 10%

1-2; 20%

The results show most people would be willing to pay

1-2 on a magazine of this genre. In turn, I will be
pricing my magazine at a middle ground of
2.50
cost; 70%

I asked this question to give me an idea of what people would

assume to be colours representative of the Hip Hop and R&B
genre so I can incorporate that into my colour scheme/house
style.
The 40% majority answered that blue and red would be suitable
for such a thing.
Due to this Ive decided to use a colour scheme of mainly
blues and reds on the cover and throughout the
publication.

of artist I should include on the cover and possibly in
the double page spread of the magazine.
The results seem to be unanimous in the populations
preference for solo artists in this genre. Therefore, I
will be using all solo artists throughout the
magazine.

If I can, I will be including either an image or a
main cover line of Chris Brown on the cover and
making him a key element where article titles

QUESTIONNAIRE RESULTS

I included this question to see what common

element people are attracted to in the Hip Hop
and R&B genre. Thisll give me ideas on what
to base parts of my double page spread.
The results show that most people enjoy the
beat of this genre. So, Ill try and include a
feature in my DPS about the making of
beats/ tracks and albums.

I included this question to see what content on a

double page spread is most liked by the audience.
Results show that the two most common answers
are interviews and recommendations. Therefore,
these will be the two key elements of my
double page spread article.

I found most of this task simple although I had some issues with the questions
regarding the artists preferred to be seen on the cover and the artists seen live/hoped
to see live. I found I gathered too much data for these questions making it difficult for
me to them tally the results and input them into pie charts I think I should have kept
these questions closed to gather a more concise set of results to evaluate.
