CATCH-UP

CAF
The purpose of Catch-Up Caf is to assist our ninth
through twelfth grade students with the formative
and summative grading policy. Confidently, we
can work with the student if they have performed
poorly on the formative and prepare them for the
summative. The plan is to use Catch-Up Caf, with
adult resources, national honor society students,
outside tutoring agency, as well as educational
assistants to assist with academic learning of our
students during their lunch period. Students will
eat lunch while they have the opportunity to work
with mentors to increase their academic
achievement, reviewing the teachers lesson plans
and re-teaching the students who are having
difficulties retaining information that was given
during class time.

Cooper Staff:
1. Teachers: Will give work assignments with directions.

2. Case Managers: Will follow-up with students and teachers.

3. Deans: Will follow-up with students and teachers.

4. Educational Assistants: Will assist with comprehending the class notes with
the students and returning completed work back into the work room.

5. Support Services: Will assist students with comprehending the class notes

Work (Summative, Formative, class notes) should be placed in a box in the

teachers work room, and will then be given to the students assigned to Catch-
Up Caf.

Completed work will then be given back. HOW?
