Hypothesis:
If I play tennis for 30 minutes a day with Zach everyday for a week, I can be happier. I am
passionate about outdoor activities and hanging out with friends. Doing both of these can
strengthen my muscles and friendships.

Procedure:
1. Everyday before playing tennis i will take the Oxford Happiness Index test and
record my level of happiness on a scale of 1-10.
2. Play tennis with Zach
3. Re-take the Oxford Happiness Index test and record my happiness level on a
scale of 1-10
4. Go Skate

Data and Observations:

Date: Happiness Happiness Level Observations

Level Before After

Monday 6 7 It was snowing so we didnt play tennis

but instead we went to the Rec Center
and played racquetball

Wednesday 6 8 We had a snow day yesterday so we had

to play racquetball again

Thursday 7 8 We finally got to play tennis and we had a

really good time

Monday 5 7 We played at the high school before

Young Life and it was really cold

Tuesday 5 8 We played tennis right after school and

then went to skate which was a lot of fun

Conclusion:
My hypothesis was correct because playing tennis with Zach was a good time even when we
played racquetball. My happiness level increased after every time we played and I felt a lot
better. Physical activity has always been an escape for me and doing it as often as we did made
me a lot happier.
