Sportsday

On Thursday 4th of April 2019 we had the sportsday. We had to come by ourselves to the
“sportpark de korze” (not very far away from our school). We had to come 10 minutes
earlier than normally, so we started at 9:30 and ended at 14:00. We did some sports we will
never do by the regular PHE lessons. That sports were: highland games, rugby and cricket (all
English sports). This were the sports we did, but the second and the third class did some
other English sports, like: lacrosse, golf, tennis, hockey and Gaelic games. Our class had as
first cricket, cricket was really nice and funny. The men that learned us
playing cricket explained it at a good way, so it was easy to understand
and play. After he explained some rules and warm a bit up, we went
playing. Playing the game went well, it was funny to do and not so
difficult. After cricket we did the highland games.
Which means we had to throw a big trunk, saw
through a thick tree trunk, throwing with a
hammer and pull a rope. I didn’t really like all
these things, but for sure it was funny. Than we had a break of 45
minutes for eating and drinking something. As last we had rugby, also
really funny. We did some games to warm up, than we learned
how to throw this kind of ball and beech. Beechen was very funny,
because one person hold a big kind of pillow and we had to beech
to that pillow. After rugby we could go home. I enjoyed most
things of this day, some things I didn’t really like it, but other I did.
Rugby I liked the most and the highland games I likes the least.
