MY EMPLOYMENT
TT FUSION - (06/2015 PRESENT DATE)
Quality Assurance:
My main responsibilities extend to the; analysis, identification, and reporting of any issues found in recent game
builds, inputting them into the JIRA database. In addition to this, I am responsible for regressing past issues to
make sure anomalies have been adequately resolved by the development team in newly released builds. At
several stages along the project timeline, I undertake multiple sweeps throughout the game such as; mechanics,
audio, gameplay and animation to ensure that everything is working as intended by the development team. To
further develop my skills I was selected to gain knowledge of and undertake experimental testing. This was
performed alongside my normal duties and required use of the in-house engine to review and test the most
recent data committed by the development team, ensuring a build was fully functioning for the rest of the QA
team.
The most beneficial module was my final year project which required myself and a chosen team to create what
could be considered a small game through all stages of production. This module allowed me to take on the role
of project coordinator and look into the role of producer. Be in charge of creating, maintain and also outlining
each stage of project development through several documents such as gant charts, excel spreadsheets and
online task management software.
MY INTERESTS
Since a young age I have been fascinated by the gaming world, this is not only reflected in my chosen studies
and career path but is an activity I also engage in during my spare time. I like to play a wide variety of games, all
of which help me to be engaged, inspired and motivated in my work.
I am an avid technology enthusiast, in my spare time I build tower PCs and actively engage my appetite for
knowledge surrounding hardware and technology available and on the market. A large focus of this follows the
advancement of the gaming industry and integrating the latest technology such as VR into the overall gameplay
experience. As a social and outgoing individual I often enjoy organising events and social gatherings with both
friends and work collogues as well as visiting several gaming conventions and rock music festivals around the
country.
