RESOLUTION AURTHORIZING HIS HONOR, THE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURE AND
ENTERPRISE ZONE AUTHORITY (TIEZA) RELATIVE TO THE IMPLEMENTATION
OF MALABSAY FALLS ECO-TOURISM PARK DEVELOPMENT IN BARANGAY
PANICUASON, NAGA CITY, SUBJECT TO THE RATIFICATION BY THE
SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD:-

Sponsor: Hon. Elmer S. Baldemoro

WHEREAS, received by the Sangguniang Panlungsod for

appropriate action is the letter dated May 25, 2015 of Mr. Oscar
P. Orozco, City ENRO, requesting for the passage of a resolution
authorizing His Honor, the City Mayor to enter into a Memorandum
of Agreement with the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone
Authority (TIEZA) relative to the implementation of Malabsay Falls
Eco-Tourism Park Development;

WHEREAS, under this Agreement, the Tourism Infrastructure and

Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) shall undertake and implement
the Malabsay Falls Eco-Tourism Park Development to foster tourism
development in the city;

WHEREAS, finding the same to be in order and beneficial to

the city government;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Elmer S. Baldemoro, seconded

by Hon. Cecilia Veluz-De Asis, Hon. Gabriel H. Bordado Jr. and
Hon. Jose A. Tuason;

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to authorize His

Honor, the city Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with
the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Authority (TIEZA)
relative to the implementation of Malabsay Falls Eco-Tourism Park
Development in Barangay Panicuason, Naga City, subject to the
ratification by the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

LET COPIES of this resolution be furnished His Honor, the

City Mayor, Mr. Mark T. Lapid, Chief Operating Officer, Tourism
Infrastructure and Enterprise Authority (TIEZA), the City Legal
Officer and Mr. Oscar P. Orozco, City ENRO, for their information.
