On the final reading of the Municipal Resolution, which was submitted by Councilor Aiza
Dio and duly seconded, all present members of the Sangguniang Bayan unanimously
accepted the following Municipal Resolution:

MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 2022-0023

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE MAYOR CHANIT

PASCUAL TO NEGOTIATE, ENTER INTO AND SIGN THE MEMORANDUM OF
AGREEMENT (MOA) BETWEEN AND AMONG THE MUNICIPALITY OF
ANGAT, BULACAN AND SUNNY ORANGE CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION
ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF ANGAT SHELTER PLAZA, SUBJECT TO
EXISTING LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS.

WHEREAS, There is a need for the citizens of Angat, Bulacan to have a safe shelter in
case of grave weather conditions;

WHEREAS, The Second Party herein has shown its interest to build the said shelter, and
has participated and won the public bidding duly organized by the First Party for the said
purpose;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE

SANGGUNIANG BAYAN NG ANGAT, BULACAN BY VIRTUE OF THE POWERS
VESTED IN IT BY LAW, IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, to authorize the Honorable Mayor
Chanit Pascual to negotiate, enter into and sign the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
between and among the Municipality of Angat, Bulacan and Sunny Orange Construction
Corporation on the Construction of Angat Shelter Plaza subject to the existing laws, rules
and regulations.

Let copy of this Resolution be furnished the Department of Public Works and Highways, the
Commission on Audit, the Office of the Honorable Mayor Chanit Pascual, Sunny Orange
Construction Corporation, and other offices concerned for their information, guidance and
reference.

This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

on January 7, 2022.
