- Practice the line formation
Form 2 lines outside the classroom (arrange by height)
Prayer position and behavior during prayer
Reminder about hair tying
- Hand signals to be done by the Chairman or the Officer of the Day (class officers)
1- Arms forward
2- Arms down /at the back
FLAG CEREMONY (7:30)
MORNING PRAYER format c/o Adviser
- Opening Song (if possible Alleluia except in the Season of Lent)
- Gospel Reading (to be written in the board- Attendance by the (temporary) Beadle)
- Moment of Silence for a short reflection
- Closing Song
WELCOME REMARKS by the Class Adviser
Checking of Attendance
Spelling and Pronunciation check
Checking of admission slips
Getting To Know You Activity (Four Corners)
Distribution of Personal Data Sheets(to be submitted the following day)
Discuss the Lunch Pass (if some will ask)
Requirements: 1x1 ID picture, letter from parents containing important information and specifying the reason
(within 3km- radius from the school), 25php upon approval.
Get the names or number of the students who would like to go out for lunch on the first day.
Writing of Expectations (students)---small group to big group
What do you want me to know about you?
What do you expect this year from you, classmates, teachers, advisers?

Start moving 10mins before the time

and distribute the Bible during CL time and after the morning prayer)

Creation of RT

TASKS:
- Name of the group
- Create a simple action to describe their group
- Presentation in a creative way for 2-3 minutes each group
- After the activity in a whole sheet of paper, challenge each group to create house rules and sanctions that they
would like to happen in the class for the whole year. Big group presentation and then adviser process the activity
using the homeroom guidelines.
Handbook Discussion: Single out the different categories of offenses and sanctions
REMINDERS: Bring the following:
Student Handbook
Bible, Student Information Sheet, (Guidelines Reply slip)
Intermediate Paper for IW practice
Book for RED time

Reply Slips (please collect and monitor for easy follow-up and become a habit to submit other slips in the

Collect the Bible (for those who did not bring)
Remind the following for the orientation:
Bring their assignment/ homeroom notebook
Observe line formation and proper behavior
Secretary writes the whereabouts of the class
Turn off lights and electric fans
Discussion about the Homeroom Guidelines (refer to another copy)

PEP Re-orientation/ IW Guidelines


IW PROCESSES:
Remind them of the IW Guidelines c/o the CLASS CHAIRMAN to start the IW TIME
Update the progress chart
PEP books must be returned properly after using or at the end of IW time
Finished paper must be submitted to the subject coordinator
Be aware of the deadlines posted on the IW Card Updates
Do advance research but no working of IW activities at home
Simulation of Individual Work
RT must prepare ice breakers for Normalization/Someone will
