NOTE

1. The stressing schedule is made as per the document no. KAPP-3&4/DC/21000/18/R2

2. The starting date may change depending upon the strength gaining period of concrete.

3. Schedule is made considering not more than 16 dome cables are left ungrouted at any stage
as mentioned in the document no. KAPP-3&4/DC/21000/18/R2.

4. Min. of 2 days gap is left between stressing and grouting for 24 hour slip checking, dry
packing and strength gaining of dry packing. However, if the grouting is done using the grout
cap (instead of dry pack), the grouting of cables can be done after 1 day ( after 24 hrs slip
measurement) only

5. First 2 JO cables will be stressed simultaneously and then 2 JI cables will be stressed
simultaneously

6. Two parts of a single horizontal cable are to be stressed simultaneously.Then the next
horizontal cable is to be taken up for stressing.
7. The dates for stressing and grouting may vary however, the sequence of the cables will
remain the same.
8. As per MOM dated 27th July 2017, in case of breaking of strand/plies , the cable should be
locked and referred to the designers for further action. Further, stressing operation shall be
taken up only after clearance from designers.

9. As per MOM dated 27th July 2017,while stressing, adjacent RH and CH cables can be left
ungrouted.

10. If required elongation is not achieved at a specified jack pressure, then the tensioning may
be continued until the desired elongation is reached. However, for any cable, the jack
pressure shall not exceed more than 5% of the pressure indicated.If required jack pressure is
not achieved at a specified elongation, then the tensioning may be continued until the desired
jack pressure is reached. However, for any cable, the elongation shall not exceed more than
5% of the elongation indicated.Any shortfall in the elongation shall be intimated to the design
office.
11. The monitoring cables indicated above can be changed with extra margin cables if there
is any unforseen issues in monitoring cables as given in drawing no. KAPP-
3&4/21212/2154/DD/R5
