Today, my teacher gave us a reading practice about family, and our articles topic is time

of your life. Firstly, teacher let us discussed four questions connect to the topic in each

group, and we needed to skin the article. In addition, I sought source and wrote on table

because reference is very important. Then, although Giovanna did not teach our reading

skills, she analysed every paragraph for us. She also introduced some words that we might

did not know. Next, Giovanna gave us some time to review this article, and answer eight

questions by myself. Lastly, we discussed post reading discussion, and we need to answer

four questions.

Before this reading practice, I felt very nervous because I think my reading is so terrible,

and this article looks difficult to understand. In contract, when my teacher translated some

unfamiliar words in this article, and she analysed every paragraph. I suddenly felt

understanding some main points. Then, teacher ask us to discuss about this article, and we

changed idea. Before read this article, I think some questions were really useful for me

because these questions made me to guess main idea. I became more confident to do

reading because I improve my reading skills and efficiency.

I learnt several things from this reading practice. Firstly, I learnt to guess articles main

idea before read any article. Secondly, I learnt how to understand ever paragraph and how

to guess some words. Lastly, I learnt how to answer this articles questions. Therefore, I

will feel more relaxing when I do reading practice again.

After this time practice, I will practice more reading exercises to increase my reading

skills. I can guess the articles information and main idea, and I can translate unfamiliar

words while I do reading practice. However, if we test reading tests, we need learn to

guess unfamiliar words.
