A TheContractor'sunitratesaretobefullyinclusivevalueoftheworkdescribedandmustincludeallrelatedwork,
accessoryorconsumablematerials,incidentallabour,supervision,administration,tools,constructionequipment,
overheadandprofitandallcostsandexpenseswhichmayberequiredinandforthecompletionofthework
describedtogetherwithallcostsandexpensesincomplyingwithallgeneralrisks,liabilitiesandobligationsset
forthorimpliedintheDrawings,SpecificationsandConditionsofContract.

B Itemswhereunitratesareapplicableshouldnotbepricedaslumpsum.

C Wheretheword"allow"isused,thecostoftheitemsshallbetheresponsibilityoftheContractor.

D Wheretheword"item"isused,thecostoftheitemsshallbetheresponsibilityoftheContractor.

(iv)Siteofficesandstoresrequiredbyhimfortheexecutionofhisworks.

(v)Obtainingsecuritypassesforaccessofworkpeopletothesite.

vi)Offloadingfrommaterialdeliveryvehicleshismaterials,placingintemporarystoreson-site,distributing,
hoistingandplacinginposition.

PC and Provisional Sums

C Forallworkexecuted,orgoods,materials,plantorservicessuppliedbyanyNominatedSub-Contractoror
NominatedSupplier,theContractorshallbeentitledto:-

(a)TheactualpricepaidorduetobepaidbytheContractor,ontheinstructionsoftheEngineer.

(b)inrespectofallothercharges,profitandattendance,asumbeingapercentagerateoftheactualpricepaid
orduetobepaid.TheContractorshallinsertthepercentageorsumasapplicablerequiredforallothercharges,
profitandattendanceagainsteachitemintheBillofProvisionalSums.

(c)ShouldtheContractorbeawardedworkunderanyPCsumforwhichhehastendered,theamountforprofit
andattendanceallowedbyhimagainstthePCsumshallbededucted.

E TheContractorshallallowforallBuilder'sWorkInConnectionwiththeinstallationwhichshouldincludebutisnot
limitedtothefollowing:

a)FixonlyandinstallallinsertsandanyotheranchoredmaterialsrequiredfortheWorks,whichrequiretobe
embeddedinthebuildingstructureandblockwork.TheseinsertsaretobeprovidedbytheSub-Contractortothe

A PaymentfortheestablishmentoftheitemssiteofficeandfacilitieswillbeLumpSumwhichwillbemadeonlyafter

B Paymentforthemaintenanceofsiteofficeandfacilitiesitemswillbeinmonthlyinstalments.

C PaymentfortheremovalofsiteofficeandfacilitiesitemswillbebyLumpSumwhichwillbemadeonlyafterthe
completionoftheirremoval.TheremovaloftheSiteOfficefortheEngineershallbeonemonthafterthe
completionoftheWorks.

E Instalmentscanbesuspended,reducedordeletedfromanyContractPayment,if,intheopinionoftheEngineer,

CommencementofexcavationshallbefromthelevelasstatedonthedrawingsandasleftbytheEnablingWorks
Contractor.

D Thetenderershallallowinhisratesforexcavationforexcavatinginanymaterialexceptrockincludingrunning
silt,runningsand,commencingexcavationatanydepth,excavatingbelowthenormalwatertable,excavating
aroundexistingservicesandmainssupportingtheverticalsidesofexcavations,workingspaceandfillingsoft
spots.

E Ratesforallexcavationshallincludeforkeepingexcavationsfreefromwaterbywhatevermeans.

F Ratesfordisposalofexcavatedmaterialshallincludeforanynecessarydoublehandlingandtheprovisionofa
tip,ifnecessary,includingandchargesinconnectiontherewith.

G Theratesfortrenchesforpipesshallincludefordisposalandbackfilling.

H Theratesfordrains,inspectionchambers,etc.aretoallowfortesting.
