DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOPIC
In the month of October we had the third year of high school to make the

month of internships that corresponds to practice the corresponding

specialties in public or private companies or in turn in the institutions:

The internships were obligatory and important not only because they are

grades to graduate but that in that month the students put all our knowledge

in practices and is a great opportunity to learn new things that did not know or

to improve our knowledge.

Place of internship: FUNDINOR CIA.LTDA

Workdays: Via al Toachi

Input and output: Monday to Friday

Areas: Carpentry - Foundry - Machine shop

FIRST WEEK OF PASANTIAS FROM 03 TO 07 OCTOBER

The first four days I did my internships at the Jaime Roldos Aguiler Educational Unit
for some inconveniences we had with the companies where we were going to do the
internships.

In those four days we work in what is the installation of a water pump for the school.

We also performed what is the uninstallation of the welding workshop since they
were going to do the new installation in the workshop that is under construction.

The fifth day begins to perform my internships in FUNDINOR CIA.LTDA where we

were received well and treated us like one more there, what they did to do first is to
take all the measures of the drills and strawberries to make a report of how many
there Measures are and how many are damaged.

At the end of this, I started to work in the radial drill doing some drilling with a worker
there who helped me a lot in this month of internships as he explained things I did
not know and it was of great help not only him but also the rest of the Staff that
helped us a lot and had us pass.

SECOND WEEK OF PASANTIAS FROM 10TH TO 14TH OF OCTOBER

THIRD WEEK OF PASANTAS OF THE 10 TO THE 14 OF OCTOBER

The first days they sent us to the carpentry area , this area had to see a little with
our specialty. This area is the most important of all since you have made the
pieces in wood or in lico for later with the mold in hand send them to the area of
casting where they take the piece already made of iron steel among others, and
finally they send them to Mechanical area where they give the final touch.

That time we had in the area of carpentry although it was not much time I learned a
little what it is to read the plans the contractions that are used in steel and iron,
also how the pieces made in wood or lico by, also use Which is the lathe because
with this machine they give the shape of the piece that they want, in the lico by
turn they give the shape by cutting with a machine or sanding.

The last two days we worked in the area of machines with the realization of some
screws for some pans.

FOURTH WEEK OF HAPPINESS FROM 24TH TO 28TH OF OCTOBER

The last week of internships we were working on the mandriladora this machine
was for me, in this machine we worked on the equalization of the four sides of 20
skates, at first clear did not know how the machine was used but with the
explanation and recommendations that We got started doing the work, it was a bit
difficult because sometimes I forgot some things or use but in the end I liked to
work more in the boring machine than in the lathe.

The last day of internships to finish with the equalization of lso skates, the engineer
who was carrying us gave us the day to explain and teach us how to make plans in
a program called Solid Works, this program is easy to use first if I It was difficult but
everything is in one to put a commitment and dedication in the things we do and in
what we want to learn.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

I recommend to the school that continue with this activity of sending the third
graders from high school to companies to carry out internships as they learn
important things not only from the specialty but also gives us some idea of what
our life could be like On the day we leave school and have our job.

Another recommendation would be to extend the internship time since a month is

too little to put our knowledge into practice and to learn new things.

They could also do the internships at the end of the course, in those three months
that we have on vacation they could send students to do what are the internships
because we would have more time to practice.

CONCLUSIONS

As a conclusion it could be said that this is a great experience that we will always
keep in mind since in carrying out the internships I not only acquired new
knowledge but also acquired new friendships, who in this month helped me a lot
and taught me new things about mechanics and About how life is when you
already have a job, since it is a greater responsibility since you have to arrive on
time and there are no exudes.

In this month I learned new things about my specialty, it is not as easy as it seems
because there are things that require a lot of knowledge, it is not how people think
that as I am a mechanic I just have to walk dirty because things are not like that, a
Mechanic is not only walking dirty a mechanic is to have knowledge, intelligence,
practice and above all who likes his work and who likes what he does.

This month was useful to realize that I am not mistaken in choosing this specialty
since the mechanic has enough branches and there enough job opportunities but
everything is in one if you want or do not want to get ahead.
