A.

BACKGROUND

Field work practice is one of the activities carried out by students and other tasks
according to their respective competencies. Field work practice is one way to introduce
work results to students and a way to make students more independent. Based on the
training, students will learn how to manage a workshop from their workshop, and
students will also learn many other jobs that school or class don't learn. SMK 2 Ciamis
students did a work workshop and we were placed in the S-tech workshop

The S-tech workshop is one of the workshops in the city of Ciwidey. simple results but
the quality is as good as a big workshop. The owner of the workshop he is a diligent
person. The workshop location is at Jln. Nanjung. This is a location in Ciwidey. The
mechanics are very good. They tell students how to do work.

B. PURPOSE

Get more experience working in the workshop. As a requirement for SMK practice
exams Getting grades, Getting certificates Making students more independent in
practice.

C. SCOPE

Job trainer, workshop, mechanics, spare part shop, owner of the workshop, welder,
turner, secretary of workshop and customer.

D. PALACE AND DATE

The job training started from August 1th 2022 until October 29th 2022 at Ryan workshop
S-tech in Ciwidey

RESULT JOB TRAINING


The first week
Students introduce themselves one by one to the workshop owner and employees,
then the owner explains about work and regulations during working hours

Second week
This week, students help employees by bringing tools and materials needed by
employees, and doing light work

Third week
Students begin to smoothly do light work, such as sanding, polishing and grinding,
after the work is finished the employee will check everything the student has done
Fourth week

Students are starting to learn about miling machines and how to operate them, this
week students still ask a lot about miling machines, and this week students still make a
lot of mistakes but that doesn't make students' curiosity fade away

Fifth week
Students have started to be allowed to operate milling machines and the first job
students do is milling duralium plates for CNC materials, even though there are materials
that fail but the employees understand this because students need time to get used to
operating milling machines

Sixth week
The students began to be able to operate the milling machine on their own while still
being supervised

Seventh week
This week's students are starting to try to turn because there is already a foundation
from the school so students don't have too much difficulty learning

Eighth week
In this last week employees ordered the students to finish the jobs thar weren't finised
as long as the students do the job training. In the last day students would say good bye
to the workshop owner and employees. After that, students would meet the workshop
owner to asked his signature for students journal and asked him to give score about
students attitude, skill, and discipline in students job training journal

CONCLUSION

The job training is very useful helping student to get more experience in the world of
work. In the workshop, students will learn a lot of independent, discipline, and how to
manage the workshop with well. Beside it, students skill and competence will increase
after do the job training.

SUGESTION

there is no suggestion from us for the workshop because the workshop is already good,
hopefully in the future there will be more orders and more branches and open job vacancies.
