 CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

1.1 Backround

Every SMK graduate student is required to have an expertise and be ready to work
because SMK graduates are usually not recognized by the business world or industry.
Therefore, a dual system education program was held by carrying out field work practices
(PKL) so that every student who graduated from Vocational Schools gained an experience in
the real world of business after graduating from school.

1.2 purpose
The purpose of field work practice is to add insight into students' knowledge of the
world of work and industry.

1.3 Scope

During the field work practice the four of us were guided by a mechanic named Mr. Asep
Somantri as a mechanic at PT. KRAKATAU BANDAR SAMUDERA.

1.4 Place and Date

JOB TRAINING RESULT

2.1 The first week

We were introduced in the first week and we immediately replaced the roll top and
lubricated it.

2.2 Second week

We perform oil changes on cranes and lubricate and replace return rolls.

2.3 The third week

In the third week we did the cleaning in the oil warehouse area and replaced the slings.

2.4 The fourth week

In the fourth week we did a special roll replacement and did welding lessons.

CONCLUSION AND SUGESSTION

3.1 Conclusion

. After we did job training at PT. NDS Auto Service has many benefits for us, both

experience and knowledge related to the world of work so that we can add to the insights we

have gained during job training.

3.2 Sugestion

For students carrying out field work training activities, the most important advice is to

maintain the good name of the school and company where students carry out job training.
