Praise the presence of Allah SWT who has given His mercy and wisdom so
that the author can complete the report on the work practices of this industry
properly. This report is prepared asone of the requirements to pass prakerin at SMK
Negeri 7 Lhokseumawe.

The report is titled "Canopy Welding" on Engineering Beetle Enterprises". The

purpose of the implementation of this p rakerin is to apply the theory that has been
learned during school in real work. In addition, prakerin is also available to improve
students' skills and work experience.

The author would like to thank the school staff, the Engineering Beetle
company, and the industrial supervisor who have provided opportunities and
guidance during the author's practice. Hopefully this report can be useful for
readers as a reference and information about prakerin activities in the Beetle Teknik
company.

Finally, the author apologizes for any shortcomings in the preparation of

 CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background of Industrial Work Practices

Industrial Work Practice (Prakerin) is one of the education programs in
Vocational High Schools (SMK) which aims to provide work experience to
students to be better prepared in facing the world of work. Prakerin is also a
means for students to apply the theories they have learned in school in real
situations in the company.

The purpose of implementing this Prakerin is to improve students' skills

and work experience, so that they can be better prepared to face the world
of work after graduating from SMK. In addition, Prakerin also provides
opportunities for students to expand their networks and gain valuable experience
in the industry.

In this report, the author will discuss Prakerin's experience in the

Engineering Beetle Company with the title "Mini Table Welding". This report includes
an overview of the company, the production process, specific tasks performed
bythe author, as well as conclusions and suggestions drawnfrom Prakerin's
experience.

Through this report, the author hopes to provide information and references for
readers about Prakerin's activities at the Technical Beetle Company and the
benefits that can be obtainedfrom this education program.
1.2 Objectives and Benefits of Industrial Work Practices
The implementation of Industrial Work Practices (Prakerin) has very
important objectives and benefits for vocational students. One of the goals
is to develop students' skills and work experience so that they can be better
prepared for the world of work after graduating from school. In addition,
Prakerin also provides opportunities for students to expand networks and gain
valuable experience in the industry.

The benefits of implementing Prakerin are equally important. They can

gain more knowledge and skills and gain experience working in environments
that are appropriate to their area of expertise. In this process, Prakerin can also
assist students in determining the career they want to pursue in the future.
With this education, this educational program is very helpful for vocational
students to prepare themselves to face the increasingly competitive world of
work.

Not only that, the implementation of Prakerin also has a positive impact on
educational institutions and industry. Educational institutions will benefit from a cooperative
relationship with industry so as to create more dynamic teaching and learning
activities. On the other hand, the industry will also benefit from the presence of a
young workforce who have been equipped with skills andwork experience in
the field.

In this case, the role of the guidance teacher is very important in running
the Prakerin program. Teachers must be able to provide direction and guidance to
students in order to achieve the goals and benefitsof implementing Prakerin
to the maximum. Therefore, there is a need for coordination between
educational institutions, industry, guidance teachers , and studentsas program
participants to achieve optimal results . Thus, the implementation of Prakerin is
an educational program that cannot beunderestimated because it has a positive
impact on all related parties.
 CHAPTER II

COMPANY PROFILE

2.1 Company History

In 2012 this welding workshop was established and named "Beetle
Teknik" which is located in Dusun Lhohkumbang, Gampong Meunasah Alue.

Measuring Next Do Cutting At Every side end
Cutting serong,Dan Appropriate Result Measure After

 finish Next Welding Stage Set the position in the place
where the end of the iron is cut obliquely after becoming
a square Continue welding the sports table.

The final step after forming do not forget to use a

rubbing grinder for good results and the next step use
amulul for maximum results and continue painting
and adjust the position of the ceramic in the right

V. Discussion

In the prakerin activities that we have carried out for 3

monthsfrom August 1, 2023 to 1
November 2023 at Beetle Teknik, on Jl. Medan
Banda aceh, Kec Muara Satu, Ujong Pacue, there
are many things that have been done.

Hopefully this prakerin activity can add

experience, knowledge and skills in the Welding
departmen
 CHAPTER IV

CONCLUDING

I. Conclusion

After 3 months of doing this Prakerin activity, we gained

a lot of experience, knowledge and new knowledge
that was never taught in school.

Because usually in school we only learn theory, but

when doing prakerin we do it directly and at the
same time practice.

This activity is very useful for developing skills and

knowledge. Prakerin is like a complement in
school because they can be ready when they enter
the world of work.

II. Saran

When doing prakerin, it will definitely be taught

directly by the supervisor at the company. Therefore
, we always prepare ourselves and always listen to
the materials learned and in the end practice this
Prakerin.

For the later underclassmen who will carry out

Prakerin, keep the good name of the school. Because if the
good name of the school becomes bad, it will be
difficult to cooperate with any company in the
admission of prakerin students.
