FOREWORD
Praise the presence of Allah SWT, for all His grace and guidance so that the author can
complete the preparation of reports on the results of industrial work practices carried out for
three months at PT Cahaya Tasik Mandiri.

This Industry Work Practice Report is compiled in order to meet the requirements to take
the National exam and as a report on the implementation of the Industry Work Practice
2018/2019 academic year

The author realizes that this report on Industrial Work Practices cannot be arranged
properly without the help of various parties, therefore on this occasion the authors sincerely

CHAPTER I

PRELIMINARY

A. Background
Industry Employment Practices ( PRAKERIN ) is one of the professional expertise of
education that combines systematic and synchronized between educational programs in schools
and mastery of skills gained through working directly with the world of work is directed to
establish and mental skills of students so that upon graduation from vocational ready to go into
the working world . Implementation of Industrial Employment Practices ( PRAKERIN ) held for
3( three) months. It is implemented in order to improve the quality of graduate Vocational
School(SMK) in achieving the relevant objectives between the world of education with
workforce demands .
Based on the structure of the vocational curriculum program that every student will
proceed to the next semester and that will end the vocational education must implement the
Industrial Employment Practices ( PRAKERIN ) in industries and institutions - private
institutions . Practice in Industrial Work carried out with the expectation that students will
graduate , can apply the knowledge and skills that are received by the school , so that if in the
future the students working in the company can develop . PRAKERIN organizing activities is
expected to improve students' skills and work ethic which include: the ability to work , work
motivation , initiative , creativity , discipline and diligence in work .

B. Prakerin Legal Basis


1. Law No. 20 of 2003, concerning the national education system: Education is a conscious and
planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and learning process so that students actively
develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence,
morals noble, as well as the skills needed by himself, society, nation and state.
2. Minister of Education and Culture No. 323 / u / 1997, concerning the implementation of the
prakerin SMK.
3. Government Regulation No. 29 of 1990 concerning Secondary Education.
4. Kepmendikbud No.080 / v /1933 concerning vocational high school curriculum.

C. Purpose
 Purpose Of Report Writing
a) As proof of implementing the prakerin.
b) As one of the requirements to take a paper exam.
c) To fulfill one of the requirements in the final prakerin exam of the 2018/2019
school year
d) To fulfill the tasks given productive tutors
e) To practice students' abilities in writing scientific reports.
f) As a report of the results of the Industrial Work Practices (Prakerin) that have
been implemented by writing.
g) As a report of the results of Industrial Work Practices (Prakerin) that have been
implemented in writing.

 Prakerin Purpose
a) Get direct work experience at work in accordance with basic competencies
b) Improving the quality of our work for the better.
c) Give knowledge of work experience as part of the education process.
d) Adding our insights into the world of work.

D. Benefits Prakerin
 The benefits of internship for students
o Producing human resources who have professional expertise, with skills,
knowledge, and work ethic in accordance with the demands of the times.
o hone the skills provided by vocational high schools (SMK).
o Forming students' mindsets so that they are well constructive and provide
experience in the world of industry or the world of work.
o Establish good cooperation between schools and related companies, both in the
business and industrial world.
o introducing students to field work in the industrial and business world so that
when they enter the field of work it can be done quickly.
 Prakerin benefits for schools
o The aim of education to get professional expertise is more easily achieve.
o Can adjust the education program to the needs of employment.
 The benefits of industrial practice for institutions / industries
o Can choose the Internship participants both in number, ability, appearance and
time that are considered beneficial.
o Can get to know exactly the quality of students who practice in institutions /
industries.
o Can participate in the development of education in particular and the development
of the nation in general.
 Benefits of Internship for the community
o The community can get better service from internship students who have experience.

2.3Implementasi of activities prakerin
FIELDS WORKED
The work that we do during the Job Training includes:
1. Install a kWh Meter or install a new one
In this field we are always brought 3 times a week by employees of PT CTM to install kWh to
every house that has been assigned an address and number by PLN here, so we know how to
install kWh Meters.
2.Installing a Medium Voltage Network
In addition to installing KWH,somees we are also brought by CTM staff to install a net to the
area to be installed,it’s just that the work of installing our net is told as a field supervisor
3. Take Kwh to PT Rayonb Majalengka
Every 3 days we always bring kwh to PT Rayon Majalengka be it SR cabel,new pairs of
KWH,power changes or periodic KWH,usually we always carry 50 KWH or even 150 KWH.
4. Replace the damaged kWh
After the new installations in the following months we were invited by PT CTM officers to help
replace damaged kWh that had been determined by PLN.
5. ADMINISTRATION
In addition to learning to install the kwh we are also register customer ID,record all KWH that
has been installed and make a RAB.

2.2 CONCLUSION

After we carry out the Field Work Practices, we get a lot of benefits both
experience and more knowledge in our place of field work practices.

2.3 SUGGESTIONS

Make the Field Work Practice a place to apply the knowledge that has been
obtained at the School
