INTRODUCTION

1.1 PKL Background

The implementation of Field Work Practice (PKL) activities as a manifestation

of the policy of cooperation in the implementation process is carried out in two
places, namely at school and in the business/industry/institution world. The above
efforts are carried out to improve Vocational High Schools (SMK) in the
Accounting Skills Study Field in order to achieve the goal of educational relevance
to work requirements. Apart from that, what is expected from carrying out practical
activities in the business/industry/institution world is that students will have a work
ethic, namely work ability, work motivation, initiative, creativity, quality work
results, time discipline and diligence in working.

In implementing Field Work Practices (PKL), it is hoped that every student

will be able to take part in work activities and understand work activities carried out
in the business or industrial world so that these students can achieve and obtain
good and useful learning for themselves and for the students. -The female student is
able to show her performance optimally so that she is able to make herself count in
the business or industrial world.

The implementation of PKL is a means of proof and strengthening for students,

especially vocational school students, to enter the world of industry or the world of
work. The theoretical learning process carried out at school can be applied directly
during the PKL itself. From street vendors there is also a lot of knowledge that we
can take away that we haven't gotten at school.

For students to further unleash their inner potential which is expected to be

applied in the industrial world is one of the objectives of holding PKL. Not only

7
that, students who may have poor character in their school environment, when they
are in a different world, meaning the industrial world, can change to be better than
before.

The implementation of PKL, which only lasts for 2 months, actually has a
specific purpose, namely to provide new experiences about the real world of work
as an effort to strengthen oneself before entering the world of work, and to develop
and strengthen professional attitudes in accordance with what is required by the
Business/Industrial World/ the institution. Field Work Practices (PKL) are also part
of the vocational school curriculum which must be carried out by students at SMK
Pelita Ciampea 1. PKL activities must be attended by class XI students at SMK
Pelita Ciampea 1 as one of the graduation requirements.

CHAPTER IV
CLOSING

1.1 Conclusion

After I learned about the activities I carried out while carrying out Field Work
Practices (PKL) at the IPB DRAMAGA Teaching Laboratories, I can conclude
that:

1 By holding PKL, I can learn more about science in the world of work
2 PKL is able to make students better understand the meaning of discipline and
responsibility
3 With PKL I can improve my abilities
4 By holding street vendors we can better understand the situation in the
business/industry world
5 With this PKL, I can find out the results during PKL at DuniaKja
6 Being able to interact with people who have quite high positions in the agency
is a matter of pride for me
7 It's an experience I will never forget

1.2 Suggestion

1. For Schools
• Supervisors should be closer to the agency so that there is better cooperation
and in the future they can accept their students again next year.
• When carrying out monitoring, it should be more intensive so that supervisors
are more aware of the problems or obstacles faced by students .
• The suggestion for schools is that it would be best for both pupils and
students who will be deployed to a company with internship needs to be
given a prior introduction to the work that will be carried out first. That way,
they will be better prepared physically and mentally.

18
2. For Institutions

• In order to further maximize existing service facilities and infrastructure at

the Bank.
• As a student who carries out PKL Teaching Laboratories, I hope that the
agency will be able to do so. Therefore, I apologize
• For agencies/companies as well as field supervisors from companies to
further maximize the confidence of internship participants in carrying out
work in progress, which will later be carried out as a result for students so
that they are no longer unfamiliar with the world of work. Therefore, the
work process that adapts the skills program is able to provide provision in
facing the real world of work.
