By saying Thank God, thanks to the Grace of Allah SWT, the author was able to
complete the preparation of this Prakerin Report. This Prakerin Report is prepared to fulfill
the task of preparing Internship Reports in the context of Industrial Work Practice activities.

In the preparation of this Prakerin Report, the authors faced not a few obstacles, but

PRELIMINARY

1.1 Background

Industrial Work Practice (PRAKERIN) is a form of school administration that


combines systematically and synchronously between school education programs and
entrepreneur programs obtained through direct work activities in the world of work to
achieve a level of professional expertise. Where professional expertise can only be
formed through three main elements, namely science, technique, and tips. Science and
technique can be learned and mastered anytime and anywhere we are, while tips
cannot be taught, but can be mastered through the process of teaching directly the
work in the profession itself. Dual system education is implemented to meet the needs
of the professional workforce. Where the students who carry out the education are
expected to apply the knowledge gained and at the same time study the world of
work. Without this dual system of education, we cannot directly enter the world of
work because if we do not know the situation of the working environment, there are
several regulations regarding Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN) as follows:
It is stated in Law No. 22 of 1989 concerning national education,
namely to prepare students through guidance, teaching, and or training
activities for their roles in the future. Government Regulation No. 29 of 1990
concerning secondary education which aims to improve the ability of students
as members of the community in making reciprocal relationships with the
social, cultural, natural environment, and increasing students' knowledge to
continue education at a higher level and to develop knowledge technology
(science and technology) and culture, regulation no. 39 of 1992 concerning
community participation in national education and ministerial decree no.
1.2 Aims and Goals
a. Prepare graduates who have professional skills in accordance with the demands of the
job market.
b. Improve the efficiency of the educational process in training qualified and
professional workforce.
c. Provide recognition and appreciation of work experience as part of the educational
process.
d. Forming an independent mindset and behavior in accordance with educational goals.

2.1 A Brief HistoryPS CAF & RESTAURANT


PS Cafe & Restaurant was founded by Alvin Marvian in 2019, the name PS Cafe &
Restaurant was taken from the brand name or from the name of a family business called
Putra Segar, the idea to establish PS Cafe & Restaurant started from a dream since high
school and with permission God in 2019 it can be opened.

PS cafe is designed by Mr. Alvin Marvian in 2011 and in 2014 the building designed
by Alvin Marvian was almost completed, then over time in 2019 PS cafe was officially
opened, until now PS cafe is one of the cafes with a large capacity in the city of
Rangkasbitung.

With a beautiful and large design consisting of 4 floors, PScafe can accommodate at
least 400 people at the same time. Not only restaurants with millennial segmentation and
Nature themed family dining places, after 2 years PScafe has begun to adapt new
concepts, expand segmentation by providing Family Karaoke, Private Rooms, and
providing catering orders ranging from birthdays, community celebrations to events.
