What is LIQUID PENETRANT INSPECTION?


liquid penetrate inspection (LPI), also called Dye penetrant
inspection (DPI),is a widely applied and low-cost inspection
method used to locate surface-breaking defects in metals,
plastics, or ceramics.
Disadvantage: The defect must be open to the surface.
