Great job grouping students by ability levels.


Asked open-ended questions for assessing prior knowledge.

and counting on.
Students were engaged while doing the activities.

Asked why is money important? (Introduction of the lesson)

Areas for development:

Have the same notes for each table to observe. (for time)
Have students count on using the largest number first.
Less Teacher Talk. Modeling and warm-up was lengthy.
Have developing groups use multiples of 5 for time and
understanding.
Give instructions cards to each table to refer for understanding of
activitiy.
