Overall aim and context of the lesson:

Learning how to sequence the steps to a task.
Develop a relationship between the picture and the written words. Developing their speaking,
and reading. Students sequence the steps logically.

Choose two aspects from the competency areas to evaluate and discuss (one paragraph each) according to
following

Firstly, discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze why you think it worked well and what
hints you would share with other teachers about the successful strategy/ resource/activity/management style etc.

Using a powerful instructional tactic that I learned from last

semester called “Think/pair/share”. Where I allowed the students to
think about something that involves steps. Later on, sharing the steps
with the whole class after they talk in pairs. Thus, this way will help
me to know who understand the beginning of the lesson before I
move to the activities.

Secondly, elaborate on the aspect identified by YOU that requires attention. Discuss what the problem was,
why it occurred and what action you intend to take to be more successful in the next lesson.

To use another way of check the students understand about the

activities before they do it. The way I used was thumbs up. Maybe if
I choose one or two students to re-explain the activities in their way.

Personal focus for next lesson:

To think about the level of the students from all the ways. For
example, When I talk to them I need to be at the same level so the
students will be more comfortable to talk. Also, when I was doing
the lemon juice I need to sit on the carpet with them and make a big
circle so everyone can see the steps clearly.
