when the iFixit audience has full access to the guide on iFixits website. Our project supports the

Team Operations:

Members are expected to be present at meetings and respond to communication in a

timely manner.

Group members will not only responsible for their own fields of work, they will

additionally be responsible for assisting other team members; ensuring that all members

feel supported and meet deadlines.

Communication will be through email and text messaging, text messaging being the

primary source for group notifications (Markel 42). Everyone is expected to respond to

email or text within 12 hours.

The team will attempt to complete as much of the project as possible in class.

Independent work done outside of class will be fairly assigned with clear goals.

Group meetings outside of class will be scheduled on a case by case basis.

Decisions will be made through discussion with the goal of reaching a consensus

(Wolfe 56). If a consensus cannot be reached, then the majority rules.

Internal conflict and personal issues that prevent a team member from having the ability

to participate actively and effectively will be brought to the attention of the project

manager (Wolfe 116, Markel 40). Conflict will then be discussed and resolved through

respectful discussion.

Team members who do not meet the expectations outlined in this charter will be given

three warnings before the problem is brought the Dr. Bruce.

Firing Clause:

Team members who have received three strikes for breaching group roles and

responsibilities and team operations will be subject to being fired. After three strikes, the

group will immediately present the issue to Professor Bruce. Behavior which puts the

success of the group in danger will count as three strikes and be brought immediately to

Dr. Bruce.
