performance of the team becomes efficient while the team works in a more informal
environment. The team also would be able to take decisions in a faster way and the
atmosphere becomes supportive (Kor, et al., 2013).

b) Better understanding- The members present in the team are also willing to listen to each
other properly in order to understand better and in an effective way possible (Kor, et al.,
2013).

Question 2. There are certain types of causes that can affect the group dynamics and are
discussed below in the following:

1) Poor communication- It is the factor that plays an important role is team communication in
group dynamics. Communication should be better and good in the team for effective results
(Forsyth, et al., 2018).

2) Management skills in the project in a poor form- The management of the project should be
good so that the team would be able to manage the project in an effective way for the success
and completion of the project (Forsyth, et al., 2018).

3) Unhealthy work environment- The work environment in the workplace must be good so
that employees and team members would be able to focus on the project for better outcomes.

Question 3. The performance plan in a team plays an important role in the completion and
the success of the project (Mishra, et al., 2018). So it is important to make sure that team has
an appropriate performance plan in order to enhance the performance of the project. It is
important in the organization and helps in identifying the specific problems that are occurring
in the group. For the improvement of the plan and to achieve the goals and objectives in an
appropriate way and in a faster way it is necessary to have an appropriate performance plan
(Mishra, et al., 2018).

certain tools that helped the team management. There are various types of tools that helped in
management of the team, and d few of them are discussed below in the following, such as:

1) GotoMeeting- It is the type of tool that is used for video conferencing which allows
employees to schedule meetings on a time.

2) Flowdock- It is a type of platform that is used to have a private chat and group chat so that
employees would be able to discuss project-related information.

Question 7. The three strategies are discussed below:


1) The first strategy that can be developed and used by the employees is to encourage
contributions and practice feedback. It will help in encouraging team members to put their
ideas and any kind of suggestions that they have. The leader of the team can also provide
feedback in order to improve the communication of the employees or the team members. It
will also help in decision-making.

2) The second strategy that can be developed and used by the employees is to share the
vision. It will help to make sure that employees feel that they are a part of the team and are
involved in the project. It will make them feel that their vision and ideas are valued and are
considered. It will help them in collaborating, involving, and taking actions for the team.

3) The third strategy that can be developed and used by the employees is to provide a good
and healthy environment at the workplace so that employees would want to work from their
heart. Trust must be built between the employees and the team leader. It would help in
improving decision-making in the team.

Question 8. It is important to give feedback to the team members so that team members
would be able to work on the given feedback so that they would be able to improve
themselves. It is important to give the feedback with the help of few points that are discussed
below in the following.

1) Establishing trust with the team members so that they would take every feedback in a
positive way

2) Talking face to face so that facial expressions would help in conveying the actual message
regarding the communication

3) Choose the correct time to give the feedback in person. So that employee or team member
would not take it in the wrong way or in an offending way.

Question 9. Reaching consensus in a team means coming to an agreement mutually. It is a


way to find a way to accept the fact that team members are trying to convey this to the team
leader, and nobody is opposing it.

1) Brainstorming- It is a type of method that is very simple and effective and is used for a
general purpose (Cascio, et al., 2019).

2) Multi-voting- It is used to reduce the list that consists of a large number of items.

Question 11. There are certain ways with the help of which issues can be identified in the
team members, however, two of the ways are discussed below:

1) With the help of examining the past mistakes of the team member.

2) With the help of evaluating the engagement of the employee.
