Hello, my name is Carrie Schultz. I will be student teaching in your childs biology class under
Mr. Wyn for the first semester. I am looking forward to meeting and teaching your child. I lived
in Newaygo for 25 years and now reside in Grant. I have four children: two have graduated, a
10th and 7th grader.
Since I was a child I have always had a love for biology. After my youngest child started 1st grade
I decided to go back to college. My passion for biology and love of children made the decision
to teach an easy one. I attended Ferris State University for five years. I enjoyed my time there
and have walked away with great tools that I will be able to implement into our biology
classroom.
I will be taking pictures during our labs and learning activities. I will be using the pictures in my
portfolio when applying for teaching positions. If you do not want your son/daughters picture
used in my portfolio please let me know.
