23 The 33rd Regular Session started with a call to order from the Presiding Officer at 9:00 AM with Hon. Celso
24 G. Mandocdoc as non-attending. The Minutes of the 32 nd Regular Session was next considered and was
25 approved after some corrections on motion of Hon. Arnold D. Aguila and seconded by Hon. Herminigildo P.
26 Maquinto. On motion of Hon. Ruel F. Ilao, the following items are included in the Agenda:

45 WHEREAS, during the celebration of the town fiesta, there are various commercial activities conducted
46 along the streets in the Poblacion Area in the Municipality wherein it is imperative to plan a traffic rerouting of
47 the thoroughfares in order to ensure order and safety;

49 WHEREAS, the traffic plans of the Executive Department and Hon. Ruel F. Ilao of the Sangguniang Bayan
50 were presented for consolidation and adoption;

52 WHEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Ruel F. Ilao with the concurrence of all Sangguniang Bayan Members
53 present, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved that the attached herein Traffic Rerouting Plan is hereby
54 ADOPTED.

76 WHEREAS, as communicated by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Valentino R. Patron to the Municipal Vice-
77 Mayor and to the Members of the Sanggunian, that he will be out of the country to travel to South Korea for
78 personal reason from March 14 17, 2017;

80 WHEREAS, pursuant to RA 7160, specifically Section 46, provides that the Municipal Vice-Mayor shall
81 exercise the powers and perform the duties and functions of the Municipal Mayor in case of temporary
82 vacancy, thus, the Municipal Vice-Mayor did the same to the Legislative Branch, temporarily transferring the
83 role to the First Councilor, Hon. Ronald I. Apritado;

85 WHEREAS, there is a need for alternate signatories to the Executive and Legislative Departments to
86 enable the Local Government Unit of San Jose, Batangas to pay salaries and wages of its employees and
87 other statutory obligations;

89 WHEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Marife E. Bathan with the concurrence of all Sangguniang Bayan
90 Members present, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved that the following are the alternate signatories for all
91 contracts and negotiable instruments for and in behalf of the LGU-San Jose, Batangas with the Land Bank of

132 WHEREAS, the closure of the STAR Tollway after the Ibaan exit had tolled much on the condition of the
133 bridge in Salaban area where weak points had been very visible;

135 WHEREAS, continuous passage of heavy vehicles or other kinds of vehicles would accelerate the
136 deterioration of the bridge;

138 WHEREAS, repairs should be undertaken immediately and limits to vehicles using the bridge to small
139 vehicles should be made.

142 approve as it is hereby approved that aforesaid concern be requested to be addressed.
