Teachers should park in the back of the school to provide more parking for parents on
Friday for the concert.
Turn the heat down in the gym.
Rehearsal went well yesterday-many gum chewers-spit gum out on way to
practice. Wed. do NOT need extra concert. Thursday Dress Rehearsal so children can
watch each other. Teachers stay with the kids that are there for watching. Teachers
can flip flop ¾ Grade choir is singing at 1:30 and 2:20 on Friday concert day-IS THE
PLAN JACI WILL SEND AN EMAIL.
Dana Eide has a group that wants to do a fundraiser during the concert but low
socioeconomic families shouldn’t be asked to buy stuff when they come to a concert.

PBIS-What are we doing with the SWISS data? Frustrating the number of repeat
offenders. Look a the t-chart for what justifies the majors and minors. Three minors-will
equate to a major when looking at the SWISS data. Check In and Check Out Mr. Soto
and Mrs. Moller for 2 4 graders, K by Ms. Barth, Mr. Briggs-Wyatt when he gets
th

here. If Check In and Check Out doesn’t work we will go to a Tier III for PBIS but we
haven’t done that yet. Parents we’ve talked to are basically positive but for the
argumentative/justifying ones we have the SWIS data to show the students. Data to
give to the divorced parents to show the other parent so they can work together as a
team. Minors are minors-they do add up and they are irritating. The annoying kid that
repeatedly does annoying things.

PBIS Kick Off Schedule 19 classrooms of 15 minute sessions so need 3 days. Fewer
things in a day. Maybe 3 Monday, 2 Tuesday and 2 Wednesday.

C-Team and the law-lots of staff members responded and quite a few were trained last
year. Prefer having too many respond and then leave if you are not needed. Take less
than a minute to make sure everything is under control. If you are not available don’t
respond. Restraints and over restraints are where the law has been
concerned/broken. Defiant, crying students-it will be less likely that they will be
removed. If the student is not endangering themselves or others they won’t be
restrained. Helping students walking down the hall needs to be documented. You can
NOT PICK THEM UP and CARRY them unless someone is in danger. If you could
justify the danger factor to a social worker or parent then you can use restraint. If it is
justified Lynn will have our back. Do we redirect or restrain-light pressure on the
shoulder to guide would not be considered a restraint. If you have to pick them up it
is. Plan on going to your next special if there is a C-Team call. If there is a reason that
they need to be redirected someone on the C-Team may be available to tell you.
