Abstract
Ufone is the second largest cellular network in Pakistan. The head o ff ice o f the ufo ne is

1. Introduction
U FONE is a Pakistani mobile network company. Ufone is one of the largest mobile
network services providing company of Pakistan. It consists 18% market share among
mobile operators. It has almost 24 million customers.
Ufone has network coverage in 10,000 locations and across all major highways of Pakistan.
Ufone currently caters for International Roaming to more than 260 live operators in more than
150countries.Ufone also offers Pakistanis largest GPRS &blackberry Roaming coverage
available with more than 150 Live Operators across 105 countries.
More recently, Ufone has become a focused and intensive leader in VAS, constantly introducing
innovative services, which have been the first of their kind in the Pakistani cellular industry.
As the world of telecommunications advances, Ufone promises its customers to stay ahead,
developing and evolving, to go beyond their expectations, because at Ufone, it’s all about U.
Ufone provides superior Service Quality to its customers. We believe in creating superior values
for our customers and meeting their expectations, by listening to their queries and understanding
their needs, constantly providing efficient customer service and optimized solution with multiple
communication modes and well organized feedback

2. Problems

ROBLEMS OF HR IN UFONE COMPANY:
Following are few main problems of HR of ufone:
1. Lack to follow due process policy due to which they are losing their ace employees.
2. Due to lack of proper advertisement of jobs, they are unable to grab talented employees.
3. They are not following the lead the market pay strategy due to which they are facing high
turnovers.
4. Besides many training opportunities, they are not able to fully polish their employee’s
merits.
3. Review Analysis
Ufone is the second largest cellular network in Pakistan. The head office of the Ufone is located
in 13-B, F-7 Markaz Islamabad, Pakistan. Every Organizational whether its multinational,
private business or Govt. Offices depend on its people. Telecom industry is growing in Pakistan
with new companies is getting license the competition is though as a result is the consumer is
getting benefits and enjoy low call rates.
The aim of Ufone is to provide wider coverage, superior connectivity, clear signals & voice
quality. The vision of Ufone is to be the leading telecommunication service provider in Pakistan
by offering innovate communication solutions for our customers while exceeding shareholder
value & employee expectation.
Ufone has maintained itself as the 2nd largest cellular operator in Pakistan with a subscriber base
of around 6.5 million and a market share of nearly 25%. Ufone has seen a subscriber growth rate
of over 200% in the last year, and since the start of 2005 Ufone added nearly 5 million

subscribers onto its network. Ufone is providing two kinds of services to satisfy its customer’s
needs as efficiently as possible i.e. prepay and post pay services.
To conclude we can say Ufone is day by day exceeding towards success. It is leading many
competitive companies and is succeeding in industry. It is successful in gaining competitive
advantage and fulfilling the needs of customers and coming up to their expectations by providing
them best network in low price.

5. Conclusion
Telecom Industry is most growing industry of Pakistan still huge investment required for
coverage. The market also has strong competition after the entrance of china Mobile Company as
player .Competitors are hiring professionals to entertain the customer which is resulting
technological implementation and value added services. People are worried about call rates they
don’t prefer particular company. Consumer searches good service with lowest call rates although
companies are min imiz ing ca ll ra te s this will re s ult mo re gro wth in the mark et.

through TV commercial, Newspaper, Radio, Internet etc. The choice of people is Ufone because
Ufone price level is low and affordable that every one can say “it’s all about U”
