Task- Create an online presentation (using Sway) showing the

importance of 3 Chinese inventions from the selection below…

For each invention you select make sure to tell the story of its invention, what
it was used for, and why it was an improvement on earlier technology.

Suggested Outline for your Project:

1 Opening Slide/Card + 1 Closing Slide/Card +(3 Inventions x 4 Slides/Cards per Invention) = 14 Slides/Cards Total

How will this project be graded?

Opening Slide: 5 Points
Closing Slide: 5 Points
Inventions 1, 2, and 3: 30 Points Each (90 Points Total)

30 Points for Each Invention:
 Accurate, informative pictures/images: 5 Points
 Short, Descriptive Video about invention: 5 Points
 Information written on Slides/Cards 1-2: 10 Points
 Information written on Slides/Cards 3-4: 10 Points

Extra Directions:
1. Do not plagiarize- everything must be in your own words.
2. If you want to quote an article/website, use a SHORT quote (less than 1 sentence
long)
3. All information that you need will be provided on my website.
4. You will need to search Google for images and YouTube for videos.
5. You will have 2-3 class days to complete this.
6. Your goal should be to finish in 2-2.5 class periods so I can check your work and
you can complete our Hawk Mastery assignment.
7. If you are new to using Sway, watch the video I posted before asking me for help.
