Program Overview
This is a lifestyle program by Corporate HR, Learning &
Development. The program empowers participants with
techniques to reduce stress at work and reinstate work life
balance with the help of Music.

The program would delve into various domains of music


and help you control daily stress levels and help you to
rejuvenate and revitalize.
Program objectives
To sensitize and tune the professionals to have a
striking steadiness in personal & professional life
with the aid of Music by:

 Recognizing the difference between the noise and


the music and its implications

 Learning basic of Music and its magic to influence


our life

 Developing Music as a medium to regulate


emotions, thinking, self expression, creativity ,
communication etc.

Program Faculty
 An accomplished Carnatic music singer, violinist,
performer, and teacher. She applies her unique
ability to make learning of Carnatic music fun and
accessible to students of any age, from young
children to adults.

 Padma has released numerous albums as a solo


artist and an accompanying violinist, and during
her illustrious career has accompanied musical
legends that include Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna, Padma Shankar
Thanjavur Sankara Iyer, Smt. R. Vedavalli, Kalpagam
Swaminathan, N. Ramani Suguna Varadachari,
Suguna Purushothaman, and Aruna Sairam.

 Padma has had the good fortune to study music under the tutelage of
some of the greatest musicians in her field - including Dr. M.
Balamuralikrishna as well as violinist Sri Lalgudi G. Jayaraman, whom she
accompanied in concerts and lectures. She started taking lessons at a
young age from her mother, and was first introduced to violin by
Ramakrishna Sarma.

 Padma has received numerous prestigious awards, and has performed


across India and around the world in countries that include the United
States, Canada, France, Singapore , Malaysia, Israel and the Middle East.
She is also a regular performer in Doordarshan Television (Indian
National TV) and All India Radio. She is a postgraduate in music from the
University of Madras.
Program Faculty
 Sridhar Ranganathan is the Founder and CEO of
Clood On Inc and the Shankar
MahadevanAcademy. He started this venture in
July 2009 and the Shankar Mahadevan
Academy was started in November 2010.

 Prior to this new start up company, he was the


Founder and Managing Director of Blue Vector
Inc. where he led the company’s software
Sridhar Ranganathan development center in Bangalore and as the
Worldwide Sr. Vice President for Client Services.

 An entrepreneur who thrives on using cutting edge technologies to


create immense value for the benefit of the masses, he was recognized
by his Alma Mater with “One among the Best Alumni” award in 2008 by
Dr. Abdul Kalam, the former president of India during a ceremony
celebrating the 75th anniversary of the prestigious South Indian
Education Society (SIES) in Mumbai.

 With over 21 years of experience in the wireless and software industry,


he started his career at Xerox Corporation as a software engineer in the
Silicon Valley, California. He left Xerox to join Pure Software that
eventually merged with Rational Software and later with IBM. Sridhar
left Pure to co-found Online Anywhere in 1997 and wore many hats to
get it off the ground, including business strategy, day to day operations
and engineering. Online Anywhere was awarded 7 patents in the Mobile
Data and Applications space and were the pioneers in mobile based
applications.
