7.1.1 High Voltage Switchboard (11kV and above)

a) Test insulation at 5kv and record in Mega ohm (MΩ). HTR
Ensure all connections, conductors, busbars,switch contacts, fuse
b) contacts, etc. is in good condition/working properly - tightens & rectify HTR
as required

c) Ensure all cable boxes are in good condition - repair/replace if required. HTR
d) Clean and vacuum inside switchboard. HTR
7.1.2 Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB)
Inspect the spring operating mechanism, condition of the lubrication on

rotating and sliding bearing surfaces.
Test the breaker pole with vacuum interrupter for any suspected 6
c) damage. HTR VCB

Ensure auxiliary switch, shunt releases/blocking magnets, charging

motor and DC rectifier in functional order - repair/replace if required.

7.1.6 Transformer (Resin/Dry Type)

g) Ensure all connections for correct degree of tightness. HTR TX 3
h) Test and measure insulation resistance. Record all measurement. HTR TX 3
External surface to be cleaned and to touch up with paint if corroded. 3

j) Test cable insulation. HTR TX 3
