    Method Statement

    A. CRB Electrical Contractor to ensure the following:

    1. For Personnel

    a. Check personnel fitness.


    b. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
    c. Wear appropriate high voltage Rubber Gloves from ground to ground

    2. Work Practice

    a. Perform Tailgate Conference


    b. Secure Hold/Caution Clearance with Sector Operations Office
    c. Test Line/Equipment
    d. Ensure proper grounding of all lines if required
    e. Ensure proper grounding of Mechanical Equipment/Chasis
    f. Use proper tools/equipment/instrument
    g. Install adequate conductor protective covers
    h. Observe loading limits of mechanical equipment

    3. Work Area

    a. Barricade work area


    b. Install appropriate warning devices and/or caution signs
    c. Provide adequate lighting during night time work
    d. Check and clean work area after work.

    B. Summary of work – Please refer to Attached Distribution Design Sketch

    1. At construction point 1.
    a. Pole hole excavation and installation of 15m concrete pole.
    b. Installation of pole dressing to include cross-arm, primary wire supports, primary
    wires, neutral wire support and neutral wire.

    2. At construction point 2,3,4.


    a. Pole hole excavation for the installation of 15m concrete pole and anchor.
    b. Installation of pole dressing to include cross-arm, primary wire supports, primary
    wires, neutral wire support and neutral wire.
    c. Installation of Three (3) units of 100kVA transformer on pole, including 4-3#4/0 cu
    service drop
    d. Installation of truss guy.

    3. Installation of metering facilities on customer’s private pole.
