TROUGH COVER REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT

1) Give the requisition of required materials & services to store through Contracts Engineer in Material /
Requisition / Issue Format

2) Check availability of equipments and machineries.

3) Check the availability of AADC permission/PTW/LAP for Placement of Hi-up, crane & trailer, if required.
Provide Traffic/way/access accordingly.

4) Carry out Safety Induction, check & first aid box of workmen, equipment’s & machineries.

5) Check the working area is surrounded by cone / post, caution tape and flashlights are fixed for Night
working. Interval of cones at 2 to 3 m, flashlight at Alternate cones & at the starting / end point of the
access road to power station.

6) Check proper PPE provided to work force.

7) Provide instructions to workman & operator.

8) Check any visible cracks in cover / tile. In case of any defects, keep the covers / tiles separately duly
identified & report to AADC engineer.

9) In case Trough covers are acceptable, place Trough covers over the proper slot of trough.

10) On completion of Trough cover placement, clear for final backfilling & reinstatement.

11) Take proper precautions while moving & swinging cranes in the power station.
