Introduction

In the development of this work, a description is presented highlighting the

importance of "going to" as a tool for the teaching of English as a foreign language and its

multiple benefits, as well as the development of communicative and thought competence.

the process of learning English and the development of communicative competence and

critical thinking in our activity, we value the importance and use of visual materials such

Objetives

General

 Use the perfect present tense in different situations, both oral and written

Specific

 Provide information on real communication situations related to plans and

predictions

 Value the importance of the use of visual materials for the teaching of

English.

 Design activities that allow evaluating the use of the future.

Tasks to do

1. Design a presentation in e-maze (https://www.emaze.com/) where you explain

your life project through a time capsule and then share it with the email

address established by the teacher. You can check the use of this tool in the

following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6E8BXo8Opw.

2. Crear una actividad en la que los estudiantes de grado 8° pongan en práctica el

uso del futuro y la expresión “going to” teniendo en cuenta flashcards o hand

Conclusions

The design and execution of this unit allow to conclude that for the teaching of

English based on the going to, the teacher has the possibility of implementing a guided

method to structure this strategy of language teaching; articulating it with other aspects of

language learning such as communicative competence and the great contribution it can

provide to the comprehensive education of the child through the use of the language in

learning to generate other knowledge and reflections. This planning guides, organizes and

facilitates the teaching work. Our proposed activity deals with learning through the

visual, as this helps us to generate in the students their imagination, their curiosity and

even their humor, as well as the sequences of activities of extension challenge them to

gain confidence.
