Design a MSE wall based on information provided herein.

1. Calculate the factor of safety against (a) overturning (b) sliding (c) bearing
capacity (d) global stability for the MSE wall shown below. If necessary, adjust
the reinforcement length to meet the factor of safety requirements on external
stability.
2. Provide recommendations on the number of layers of geogrid, type of geogrid
(use only one type of geogrid from Tensar UX series), La, and Le. Adjust the
reinforcement length to meet the factor of safety requirements on internal
stability. (As demonstrated in the in-class example).
3. Please include any assumption that you made.
