Jamu Beras Kencur

INGREDIENTS

Rice 100g

Kencur 100-150g

Kunyit 2cm in diameter (just small amount)

Jahe 10g

Palm sugar 100g

Water 1L

Salt

Tamarind

METHODS

1. Soak rice for 24 hours and fry it after. Do not use cooking oil to fry.
2. In a mortar and pestle , pound the rice with kunyit , ginger and kencur.
3. After the juices came out , use a cheesecloth to filter. Add little water (200Ml).
4. Do step 3 , 4-5 times until 1L.
5. Then add salt to reduce the bitter taste.
6. Continue with adding tamarind juice to adjust the taste.
7. At last , at palm sugar according to convenient.
Ginger Tea

INGREDIENTS

Ginger and Palm sugar

METHODS

1. Flatten ginger by pounding it using a knife and slice it into buts afterwards (mince).
2. Boil the ginger into 400Ml of water to release the essential oil.
3. Add palm sugar as per needed to the boiling water.
