SUMMARY OF UTILITIES
AVILABLE AT GGS

1. INTRODUCTION
This document is prepared to provide a summary of the utilities available at Gas Gathering
Station location as part of the overall Ebla Gas Project.

2. INSTRUMENT AIR

(1) This equates to a water dew point of -55 °C @ atmospheric pressure


(2) At 4.5 barg of IA supply pressure, Plant ESD shall be initiated
(3) At 5 barg of IA supply pressure, supply to Nitrogen package shall be stopped.
(4) At 6 barg of IA supply pressure, supply to Plant air system shall be stopped.
(5) Vessel design pressure is 12 barg but PSV on vessel has set pressure of 10.2 barg.

3. PLANT/UTILITY AIR

4. NITROGEN

Utility nitrogen supply conditions are given in the table below.

7. GAS GATHERING STATION - START-UP FUEL GAS


Start-up fuel gas will be available at the same pressures and temperatures as shown above, however water
may be present at level of up to 1.3 mol%.

8. ELECTRICAL POWER

9. DIESEL

Syrian diesel from a local supplier will be used. It will be pumped to users via a Filter/ Coalescer. The table
below gives the supply conditions and properties.

10. DEMINERALISED WATER

Industrial grade demineralised water is available for gas turbine blade washing, This will typically be of the
following quality (to be confirmed during Detailed Engineering):
Total Dissolved Solids ≤10 ppm
PH > 5 and < 7.5
Silica ≤ 3 ppm
Conductivity ≤ 11 µS/cm (@ 20 degC ± 5)

The gas turbine washing tanks will be filled directly from the supply tanks; there will be no centralized
storage/distribution facilities for demineralised water.

11. POTABLE WATER

Potable water will be supplied at the GGS by road tankers. Its quality shall be in accordance with WHO
(World Health Organisation) standards. The main parameters are given in the following table:

12. RAW / UTILITY WATER

Raw water from boreholes will be directly used as Utility Water in GGS. The Utility Water is available at the
following conditions:
