SUMMARY OF UTILITIES
AVILABLE AT GGS
1. INTRODUCTION
This document is prepared to provide a summary of the utilities available at Gas Gathering
Station location as part of the overall Ebla Gas Project.
2. INSTRUMENT AIR
3. PLANT/UTILITY AIR
4. NITROGEN
5. FUEL GAS
Typical HP fuel gas properties and composition are given in Table 5.1 below.
8. ELECTRICAL POWER
9. DIESEL
Syrian diesel from a local supplier will be used. It will be pumped to users via a Filter/ Coalescer. The table
below gives the supply conditions and properties.
Industrial grade demineralised water is available for gas turbine blade washing, This will typically be of the
following quality (to be confirmed during Detailed Engineering):
Total Dissolved Solids ≤10 ppm
PH > 5 and < 7.5
Silica ≤ 3 ppm
Conductivity ≤ 11 µS/cm (@ 20 degC ± 5)
The gas turbine washing tanks will be filled directly from the supply tanks; there will be no centralized
storage/distribution facilities for demineralised water.
Potable water will be supplied at the GGS by road tankers. Its quality shall be in accordance with WHO
(World Health Organisation) standards. The main parameters are given in the following table:
Operating Pressure (min/norm/max) 2.5 /5 . 3/ 5. 8 barg
Operating Temperature (min/norm/max) (ambient)(1) °C
Design Pressure 6.5 barg
Design Temperature (min/max) - 15 / 82 °C
Conductivity 250 µS/cm
Total hardness Desirable . 150 - 500 mg/l CaC03
Chloride Ions 200 mg/l
Fe 0.3 mg/l
Turbidity 5 Units
(1) Potable water lines shall be electrically traced to maintain a temperature of at least 4 degC

Raw water from boreholes will be directly used as Utility Water in GGS. The Utility Water is available at the
following conditions:
Operating Pressure (min/norm/max) 3. 5/ 5.0 /7.6 barg
Operating Temperature (min/norm/max) 4/ 3 2/ 45 °C
Design Pressure 12 barg
Design Temperature (min/max) -15 / 82 °C
