Nutrition jobs in India exist most in the health and hospitality sectors. Nutritionists or dieticians
get placements in leading hotels and eateries in important Indian cities. Health resorts, wellness
spas and fitness centers also appoint dieticians for their guests or learners. Qualified nutritionists
are mostly in demand in the health industry. State hospitals, renowned nursing homes, and
sanatoria recruit nutritionists for their patients.
Candidates successfully completing nutrition courses have wider placement facilities. Outside
India, sports academies exist in most European and North American cities. These academies
enroll trainees at a very early age to provide trainings in specified sports areas like gymnastics,
swimming, or athletics. All these sports institutes are provided with doctors, nurses, medical
assistants, and dieticians. Sports institutes apart, opportunities for nutritionists are always there in
the medical and hospitality sectors.
