Scope and Delimitation

This study focuses on the perspective of students about why women are being sexually
assaulted. It aims to know why people always blame the victim just because of the way they dress.
The study will be conducted in Lyceum of the Philippines University – Laguna specifically Senior
High School Department during the school year 2018-2019 since the researchers find it more
accessible and dress code is considered as big deal in this department. The output of this study will
strengthen the rights of women to wear the clothes that they wanted to wear without being judge.
There are some limitations to this study that should be considered before generalizing the
results. The sample size of the study was small since it is limited to sixteen (16) respondents only
and thus the results may not be generalized to all the students of Lyceum of the Philippines -
Laguna. This study only included Senior High School Students which reduces the generalizability
of the results.
